Reasons To Adopt

Each year, 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the United States, simply because too many pets come into shelters and too few people consider adoption when looking for a pet. Adoption dramatically reduces the number of animals euthanized. You get a loving animal and you open up shelter space for another animal in need.
Most shelter animals wound up there because of a human problem like a move or a divorce, not because the animals did anything wrong. Many are already house-trained and are used to living with families. Animals give you unconditional love and they have been shown to be psychologically, emotionally and physically beneficial to their human
companions. Plus, when you adopt, you can also feel proud about helping an animal in need!

The Adoption Process

To begin the process, first fill out an application. You can view our adoptable
animals below.
The fees cover part of all the treatments listed below

We also support foster – adopt scenarios where you can see if a certain
animal is the right fit for you and your family. You serve as the official foster
while also intending to adopt. This is great for people who already have
pets, or adopting a pet with special emotional needs. If you fall in love, you
simply pay the adoption fee. If the fit just isn’t right, we are happy to find a
better suited forever home. No additional risk or effort.
