By fostering this cat, you agree to the following terms of adoption:
If for any reason I am unable to keep the cat or provide for its welfare, I agree to contact Pawfect4life in order to discuss the matter and, where necessary, to make arrangements to return the cat to Pawfect4life.
I understand and agree that Pawfect4life cannot and does not guarantee or warrant the health or future behavior of any cat. Accordingly, Pawfect4life, its officers and volunteers, and its suppliers or foster parents and caregivers are not liable for any defects, injuries, illness, or damages caused by Pawfect4life' animals. The costs of care and treatment for any and all medical issues, including, without limitation, all cats used by Pawfect4life, will be my sole responsibility. Pawfect4life cannot be held responsible for any liability resulting from any pre-existing or future illnesses or medical conditions of the new cat or any damage, loss, or injury that the cat may cause.
I may return the cat to Pawfect4life for any reason within 7 days of adoption for a full refund of the adoption fee. After that time, if for any reason I am no longer able to care for the cat, I agree not to give the cat to Pawfect4life, but the adoption fee will not be refunded.
I am adopting my new cat to live with me as a family pet. I will not give (as a gift or otherwise) or sell the cat to any other person. Under no circumstances will I breed or sell the cat to any medical research facility, pound, or animal shelter.
I will provide proper food, water, shelter, and attention for my cat. I understand that I am making a commitment to care for my cat for his/her entire life, which may be 20 years or longer.
I will arrange for proper veterinary treatment for the cat. I will take the cat to a vet for regular examinations and immunizations. Should the cat become ill or injured, I will be solely responsible for all veterinary bills and other expenses related to my cat.
Under no circumstances will I have the cat euthanized unless the cat is afflicted with a terminal illness or other serious non-treatable condition, as determined by a veterinarian, and is suffering.
I will keep my cat indoors and will not permit him/her to go outside.
I will provide appropriate scratching posts or other surfaces for my cat to scratch. I understand that declawing can be very painful for a cat and may cause long-term behavioral and health issues.
(If applicable) I have my landlord’s permission to keep the cat.
I agree to promptly notify Pawfect4life of any changes to my contact information, including my address, phone number(s), or email address.
Pawfect4life may track my cat and make follow-up visits to ensure the well-being of my new cat. If I violate any of the terms of this agreement, Pawfect4life may take the cat and any other cat I have adopted from Pawfect4life back from me.
I agree to all the terms of adoption outlined above.
THIS AGREEMENT BECOMES PART OF OUR CONTRACT. I certify that all the above information is true and accurate. I understand that if I foster a pet from Pawfect4life, this document will become part of the foster record.
